So you want to invest in companies that are supporting work towards the United Nations's Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). But how could you know whether they are actually making that committment, and how could you verify the impact figures?

London-based fintech company Util recently launched a new sustainability analytics platform, which it claims to apply machine learning to peer-reviewed texts, and offers a way to measure and understand the impact of close to 50,000 listed companies. For impact investors, this means the ability to assess company impact on SDGs, identify companies that meet specific SDG criteria, and generate reports on portfolio performance against the SDGs.
